About these terms
These terms apply to use of packagingshelter.co.uk and, where incorporated into an accepted order, to the supply of bespoke packaging under the Packaging Shelter trading name. They should be read alongside your individual written quotation, approved proof, Refund Policy, Delivery information and Privacy Policy. Before payment, the written quotation must identify the contracting legal entity and its postal address.
Catalogue and enquiries
Product pages, images and online forms are invitations to enquire, not binding offers to supply. Descriptions and renders are illustrative. Submitting an enquiry does not create a purchase contract or require payment. We only commit to an order when its quotation, specifications, price, delivery terms and payment arrangement are confirmed and accepted in writing.
Quotes, prices and payment
Each quotation should set out the agreed currency, any applicable taxes, product quantity, manufacturing details, delivery costs, payment method, deposit and remaining balance. Unless agreed otherwise, pricing is valid only for the period specified in the written quotation. We do not display invented instant prices or guarantee unconfirmed delivery terms.
Artwork, proofs and approvals
The customer must provide artwork they are entitled to use and any required product information or instructions. We may supply digital mock-ups or samples to assist approval. Before production, the customer should review and approve the final dieline, dimensions, materials, colour references, artwork and relevant technical tolerances in writing. A digital rendering is not a guarantee of exact screen-to-print colour matching.
Production and amendments
Material changes after approval may require a new quotation or revised production schedule. For genuinely bespoke orders, once production starts, cancellation for a change of mind is generally not possible and payments are normally non-refundable as detailed in our Refund Policy, subject to mandatory legal rights. We will not claim that all made-to-order products automatically qualify for a statutory cancellation exception.
Delivery and risk
Lead times, shipping services, destinations, customs charges and responsibility for transit are determined by the accepted quotation and applicable law. Timelines given before written confirmation are indicative only. Read our Delivery information for more. Nothing removes statutory requirements concerning the delivery of goods to consumers.
Materials and compliance
Products involving food contact, child resistance, medical use, pharmaceuticals, CBD, tobacco or other regulated applications require explicit technical and regulatory verification before production. A catalogue illustration is not evidence of legal compliance, safety testing, material certification or approval for a regulated use. We will specify supported claims only when documentation is available.
Intellectual property
You retain rights in artwork you own. By sharing it for a quote or order, you grant permission to handle it for the requested packaging service. We retain rights in our original website text, design, generated mock-ups and original production work to the extent allowed by law or otherwise agreed. Do not use third-party branding without authorisation.
Faults, complaints and liability
If goods fail to meet an agreed specification or legally required standard, contact us with evidence so the issue can be reviewed. Remedies and any limitation of liability depend on the law governing the specific purchase and terms that can lawfully be agreed. We do not exclude responsibility for fraud, personal injury or death caused by negligence, or any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Website availability and external services
We aim to provide accurate site content but may correct errors or update pages and product availability without notice. External social networks, contact services or suppliers have their own policies. We do not promise uninterrupted access to the website.
Applicable terms
The accepted quotation will confirm the contracting supplier and any governing-law or dispute-resolution terms. Those terms cannot override mandatory rights that apply to an eligible consumer. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue insofar as the law permits.
